Designed in 1909 by renowned architect Richard Kletting, The Commercial Club was the first space of its kind to offer prominent residents of Salt Lake City a place to gather, socialize, and entertain guests visiting from around the country.

Located in the heart of Downtown Salt Lake City, the club featured game rooms, luxury overnight accommodations, a swimming pool, and at its center, an expansive, 2700 square-foot ballroom designed with floor-to-ceiling windows and a towering, frescoed ceiling.
